Chasmic Christ Convo

Who desires a “Chasmic Christ Convo”? Speaking deeply with HIM. I’ve learned that in order to do that… you must learn to wait… during and on your prayers. How can you gain a clear message when your being so impatient. We all tend to jump to the “asking” part of prayer and misinterpret HIS message. What if I told you to wait and “ask” later to gain the clarity and action you seek. What if I gave you a clear example of this, the blue-print to prayer…Would you change prayer habits or keep winging it?

Trusting in HIS wisdom, HIS will, and HIS timing… is key to a deeper conversation with HIM. I know some of you are saying, “but Ron, why would God require waiting?” Simple, waiting demonstrates our submission and deference to His will.

Understand… This waiting lives on the front side of your prayers. Instead of jumping strait in to your request for answers and actions from HIM, try giving honor and recognition to your Father first. Remember when the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray, HE taught them to say,

“This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Matthew 6:9-10 NIV
9Th Verse:

Is acknowledgment, states our humbleness before HIM and shows we are willing to wait within our conversation for the discovery of what is in HIS heart for us.

10Th Verse:

Teaches us to ask what HE wants us to do. Letting HIM know our hearts desire to perform HIS will, in HIS kingdom, which extends beyond heaven to this wonderful little blue marble HE created called earth. In turn… HIS will is to provide the things necessary to execute it, thus simultaneously fulfilling our own heart’s desire. This is praying God’s will back to HIM.

On a personal note, at this time I need a vehicle. Not just any vehicle, one with hand controls, affordability, and stability. There are so many options and needs… it can be a bit overwhelming. So this  is part of what I’ve been praying...

“Lord, I pray for a way or vehicle that will allow me to keep doing YOUR will without hindrance and expand my growth in faith”

The other part of waiting comes after asking. Practicing your repetition and patience for the right season. That “way or vehicle” may not come as fast as expected. There’s a time and a season for everything… God created these, so HE knows when and how the blessings should be disbursed. HE knows the perfect season blessed with the awaited answer to our prayers is beautiful.

Yes, it’s hard and can be stressful at times… The Bible goes so far as to say that this stressful process should be celebrated! Why? Well…we may dislike the discomfort of refinement that comes from a long stretch of perseverance in the moment, but you know we would never gain anything that was given with such ease. That in itself is a blessing, God not allowing us to sidestep the process of waiting and learning nothing in return. The best part… even in a season of chaos, HE drops that blessing right in our laps just when we need it…
